It is mid-july and not too early to begin thinking about Christmas! We know that our kids have begun to want to establish their own little family Christmas Eve traditions and respect that. Accordingly, we will hold the Carter Christmas Family Home Evening on Monday, December 18. That will be our night to have a little family celebration and then it leaves you free to make your own plans if you want. We will be here on Christmas eve as well, but know that if we party that night--some of you will have plans.

I think that this sounds like a fun idea. It will be great to do a nativity this year with the kids! Colman and I may attempt a kazoo Christmas Carol if we can do it w/o laughing. See everyone there!
